It doesn’t matter where you are, we can send you for Return to Duty (RTD) testing anywhere in the United States using the zipcode: all we need is client information, find a testing location using the zip code given, make payment and then we send you an Authorization form for you to take to the nearby testing facility
If you fail steps 5 or 6 of the return to duty process, which typically involve completing a required treatment program and passing a final "return-to-duty" drug test, it means you cannot return to your safety-sensitive job until you successfully complete the necessary steps, including potentially further treatment or evaluation by a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP); this could result in further delays, additional treatment requirements, or even job termination depending on your employer's policy and the severity of the violation.
It all depends on you and how the SAP feels about your condition. Depending on the SAP’s evaluation, you may have to complete an education course, counseling, and/or rehabilitation. Some programs are quick and easy and others can take a couple of months and involve
inpatient treatment at a rehab facility. Only you and the SAP can really determine how long this part of the process will take.
